Retreats

Space to BE

“Retreat” can be defined most simply as a definite time (from a few hours in length to a month) spent away from one's normal life for the purpose of reconnecting with our deeper, truer selves. The practice of leaving one's everyday life to connect on a deeper level to nature, spirit and source is as old as most religions. Have you given yourself this gift lately?

Movement & Mindfulness Retreat 2025

Join the bursting spring buds in for the opportunity to reset and renew as the first signs of spring burst open. The spring is a powerful time to care for ourselves and shed any limiting behaviors. During this time of spaciousness and grounding, let us re-learn from mother earth and take care to protect the precious seedlings of our heart that have emerged from the depths of winter. Let us honor the fiery energy of new life. The Central Coast will likely form the breathtaking backdrop of this time for you, giving you fresh air, inspiring views, and the reminder that we are all one. You will have opportunities for shared yoga, hiking, and contemplation practices as well as plenty of downtime and yummy foods.

This workshop is being led by Movement Maven, Roxy Borger. Roxy is a certified Yoga, Barre, and Wilderness Guide and has been teaching and leading groups since 2000. Roxy is grateful to call the central coast her home and playground and is ready to share it’s many awe inspiring gifts with you.

LOCATION: TBD (SLO, Colorado, Sedona, or Big Sur likely)

SLO Fall Equinox Retreat

Join Roxy in the hills of San Luis Obispo, California for a one day movement retreat and the opportunity to reset and renew.

The fall is a time to notice the changes that are occurring: the sun rising and setting differently, the plant world is peaking and drying, and our activities are shifting as a whole. In many traditions the fall is the season of the new year which begins with prayer, reflection, consumption of healing foods or fasting, and grounding into the mysteries of life - especially creation and dissolution. Let us re-connect with nature and the fall movement toward fertile darkness.

During this one day retreat we will enjoy a day full of movement, fresh air, food, and community. The central coast of California will form the breath-giving backdrop of this time for you, giving you fresh air, inspiring views, and the reminder that we are all one. You will have the following opportunities during this day of renewal.

  • Barre

  • Hiking

  • Yoga / Journaling

  • Wine
